The main objective of this study was to prepare Risperidone (RIS) nasal powder by spray drying method, so as achieve controlled drug release and high deposition efficiency in the cavity. microparticles with uniform size controllable structure were prepared mixing hydroxypropyl -βcyclodextrin (CD) API before a novel microfluidic technology. properties particles characterized terms particle size, crystal shape vitro local efficiency, formation mechanism structure-activity relationship revealed. results showed that samples all amorphous state, physicochemical risperidone can be improved addition CD. Compared spray-dried pure RIS, CD had good fluidity (CI<30%) more suitable sizes (35-55μm) for delivery.
